Gentle Yoga /Beginning Yoga is an on going class for anyone to begin or drop into at any time. The class moves at a slower pace with instructions for each pose as well as for modifying or adapting the postures if needed. The perfect class to begin the practice of yoga and move onto the open classes whenever you feel ready, or if you haven’t done yoga for awhile and just want a refresher--- or maybe you would like a gentler pace. Open Yoga
All levels yoga class. Suitable for anyone with some previous yoga experience. Each class features: breathing exercises, warm ups, sun salutations, postures, and relaxation. Everyone is encouraged to participate at your own pace.

Advanced Yoga
Challenging postures including headstands and arm balances. Multiple rounds of sun salutations. This is a class for the experienced yogi to challenge themselves. Each class includes breathing, exercises, sun salutations, headstand, shoulder stand cycle, forward bends, back bends, twists, and deep final relaxation.

Kids' Yoga Winter 2012
February 6th-March 19th (no class Feb 20th)
6 Week session: $45
Yoga is a fun way to teach children to relax and get along with others, because even children feel the stress of modern life. It also improves balance, coordination and flexibility. Kids' Yoga uses games, storytelling, and relaxation techniques especially for children.
Ages 5-11
The kids classes fill up very quickly. If you are interested, please contact us as soon as you can to have your child’s name put on the waiting list. We will try and take as many children as we can, but we like to keep the classes at a manageable size so each child receives the attention they deserve.

Yoga for Teens Winter 2012
February 1st-March 14th (no class Feb 22nd)
Yoga for Young People is a class for older kids, pre teens and young teenagers ages 11-15, grades 6-9. This class is a nice step between the kid’s class and the regular yoga classes for adults. Unlike the kids yoga classes, there will be no games, but instead a greater focus on breathing, relaxation, and more postures. It will be very similar to an adult yoga class, but paced for children with allowances for their observations and enthusiasms.
